Welcome to the premier episode of Pins’s Needles Podcast! I forgot to introduce myself, among other things, but overall had fun and hope to make another episode soon! I really love watching knitting podcasts and am excited to contribute to the community.

Hi, I read your mother’s blog and noticed that the scratchy yarn is not your favorite. Mine either. I have not tried this yet, but on Pinterest they talk about taking the skein of yarn and wash it and use fabric softner in the load. You place the skein of yarn in a pillow case and pin shut. Wash as you would when the project is done. Dry in the pillowcase. It will fluff the yarn up and you can still pull from the skein, but the scratchiness is over with. Take a skein your are not really liking it and try it to see if it works for you. Just a thought. Then knit or crochet and see how it works. Chris

Hi Kayla! Followed you over here from your mom’s blog! Great information and I LOVE all of your projects. What a great goal you have set for your self. Besides quilting, I knit and crochet too, but for me I have crocheted forever and can with my eyes closed. Keep up the good work. Have a great day.
